True Flight

The helmet strapped atop the dragon’s head was its only protection as it flew around the track at nearly 190 miles per hour. Strapped in an F1 car which screamed around the paved oval of a track amongst forty or so competitors, a mistake on his part could be deadly. The four-wheeled beast containing the thin reptile was currently leading the pack of competitors, a place which any open-wheel racer cherished as the risk of wheel-to-wheel was greatly reduced. Its draconic driver constantly fought the small steering wheel for control as it sped around the track at a speed which was mind-boggling.
