2017 Wrap Up

Personal, Misc, Blog
Well in about 24 hours, 2017 will be coming to a close. I have... A lot of feelings about the last 12 months, but the biggest one for me personally is one of failure. I failed to catch up on Patreon, failed to mend a relationship that has been on the rocks for over a year, failed friends who have since moved on from me, and really... Well, I damn near failed myself more than once. It was a really rough year for me personally, and it was one that I would really rather just forget and move on from. I spent a large part of this year in a very dark, bad place mentally that... Well, I know I still have to come back from. I am fighting again,…

Swirling Bonds

Commissions, Story
“The name for this place sure is strange,” remarked Russ as he glanced up at the dimly-lit neon sign above the door. The German Shepherd was somewhat wary of the dive that he was being led into, but Hyphy had assured him time and time again that the place was reputable; his friends went in there all the time. Russ was a little concerned though… The restaurant had no reviews on the internet, and could only seem to be found by walking around the back of a building and down into its basement. This was odd, to say the least, but something about Hyphy’s insistence that it was good forced the canine onwards. Following along behind the bushy, wagging tail of the tan husky in front him, Russ shook his…

Kent knew that he should have stayed home. He missed his sofa, his television, his snacks… All of those things weren’t there with him, and with no cell phone signal and no map, it looked like he wasn’t going to be finding his way back to them anytime soon. It had just taken a little bit of coaxing from a friend to get the canine out of the house and into the forest, and the first few hours of his trip on a ‘geocaching’ adventure had been rather enjoyable. As the day had worn on though and the chubby womble wound up separated from his friends, it the nice time quickly took a turn for Kent. He wasn’t enjoying himself nearly as much anymore, and as the sky began to…

Mail Order Snacks

Commissions, Story
Tach stood in his doorway rather confused. The lynx hadn’t ordered anything, not a thing, and yet there was a box sitting on his front steps. It was a small box with no markings, no return label, and simply “Tach” in bad handwriting on top of it. It was an odd thing for him to say the least, but the smells coming from it were enough to entice the feline to at least take it into his house. Cautiously. It wasn’t much of a deal for him to at least bring the box at least, right? Of course it wasn’t, or at least that was what Tach told himself as he took the box into his arm and brought it into his house. He had no idea what it was…

House Special

Story, Commissions
To say that Liam was hungry was an understatement. It was almost as if he hadn’t eaten in weeks; and yet breakfast had been just a few hours ago. He had no clue as to where his sudden hunger had come from, and yet it was gnawing at his very soul as he stood doubled over on the sidewalk. He had merely been walking back to his bar after a trip around town to gather up a few supplies from the locals. Of course, he had been staying out late, and that may have messed with his eating schedule some… But this amount of hunger? Out of nowhere and just seemingly right in front of one of the biggest restaurants in the town seemed almost like too much of a…
